About
Melissa is the proud owner of Murtle’s Handmade Chocolates. Born in raised in Sandusky, MI. She is a graduate of Ferris State University with a BBA in Advertising and a certificate in Direct Marketing. Melissa is also a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Melissa and her husband, Harvey have a young son named Eli and two four-legged kids, Charley and Mickey and they reside in St. Charles, MI. “I’m outnumbered at home! All boys!”

Meghan was born and raised right here in Owosso! Meghan has a number of years of culinary experience and has worked with Melissa for several years on other ventures. “Meghan brings our chocolates to a whole new level! She makes most things better than I do now!” says owner Melissa Wheeler.
